Patrick
Edwards
CA, TEP
After obtaining his Bachelor of
Business Administration degree (honours) in Accounting from
St Francis Xavier University in 1993, Patrick obtained his
Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in Nova Scotia in 1996
and completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered
Accountants' Tax Course in 1999.
Patrick has been a private wealth counselor with Private
Wealth & Estate Services since September of 2000. As a
consultant in this group, he partners with financial
security advisors to provide direction to clients as they
plan for the eventual transition of their wealth. Patrick
works predominantly with business owners, professionals and
high net-worth families. He focuses on technical and
relationship issues surrounding business exit planning,
life-long wealth management and the transition of wealth
between generations.
Prior to joining Private Wealth & Estate Services, Patrick
practiced for seven years as a public accountant focusing on
tax planning for business owner managers.
Patrick is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, The
Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Institute
of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia and the Society of
Trust and Estate Practitioners.
